From Kaciee-Jayne With Love
Today (19/3/2025) Kaciee-Jayne, along with her Mammy and Daddy, got to say a huge beautiful 'Thank You' to the amazing team of medical staff who saved her life and nursed her through an induced coma.
The team at The Great North Childrens Hospital RVI PICU Newcastle are Kaciee-Jayne's heroes.
It was with pride that Kaciee-Jayne got to present the team with a cheque for £
This was the outstanding amount of money raised by sponsorships and fundraising in Kaciee-Jayne's community by family and friends and generous members of the public.
Kaciee-Jayne's Daddy and his fantastic friends Stephen, Liam and Darryl did a sponsored climb up Ben Nevis wearing T.Shirts designed and donated by WAGGOL and added to the fantastic donations.
Kaciee-Jayne's Aunty Sarah approached her management at River Island who generously matched the donations already collected.
The team at PICU are heroes to all the children they care for and their loved ones and this a small way of saying 'Thank you, you are all so very much appreciated'

With the government only funding about one third of the vast costs that goes into this life effecting and changing work, Teeside Hospice welcomes any public support that will help them carry out and provide extremely important care to it's patients and loved ones.
As someone who has recieved treatment from Teesside Hospice and has also been effected greatly by terminal illness of loved ones, the Hospice and it's wonderful staff, hold great importance to myself and my family and friends, because sadly, we all know someone who has been effected at one one point in our lives or will be.
Teeside Hospice provides tailored care at a time when it is needed most from inpatient care, outreach, Lympoedema treatment and wellbeing with treatment management to mental and emotional support and more.

The LTC works with children, young people, families and vulnerable adults.
Their most significant activity is responding to local needs and to the ongoing development of projects and solutions developed in partnership with the community and their partners. Using first hand knowledge and ongoing consultation with local children, young people and adults ensuring those most vulnerable and at risk people are identified, developed and encouraged to participate, access services, become active and transform their lives. LTC provides local people with support and better equips family and community members to support each other, increasing their social inclusion.
The LTC is not a government funded body and constantly fundraising to keep their core services going relying on the kindness and generosity of people's donations so they can keep supporting the families they are already working with to continue to make a difference to others.
Visit LTC website and find all the information you need and ways you can support them.
We as humans are the guardians of our Animal family. Unfortunately, sometimes people let them down and animals can not tell you their pain,, hunger, loneliness, or fears. We all need to be advocates and walk alongside our animal family and not leave them behind.
We are hoping to shine a spotlight on rescue centres and animal welfare in 2025. We would love you to join us.
